PML-N not to allow rulers to make mockery of court verdicts: Nawaz

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has said that his party would not allow the rulers to violate the constitution and make mockery of verdicts of the apex court. He was talking to PML-N Punjab’s Joint Secretary Rana Sajid Iqbal, Advocate and other party workers here on Sunday. He said that it is incumbent upon everyone to show respect to judiciary and implement its decisions but the rulers have made it their habit to violate every law of the land. Nawaz Sharif said that the manifesto of the rulers is to indulge in large scale corruption and victimise the masses. He said the country never witnessed such massive scale electricity and gas loadshedding in the past and had the rulers shown some seriousness to address the issues, many of them might have been resolved by now. The PML-N president said whenever the Muslim League came to power it put the country on the path of development and prosperity and this task is being done by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Punjab. He said the chief minister has launched a number of people’s welfare schemes in the province and was working day and night to address the problems of the people. He said people should not get depressed by the present state of affairs and soon they would get rid of the rulers and an era of development and prosperity would dawn in the country.
